It's Senior Year at the 4th Annual Vegas Prom

Sounds like an average prom checklist for prom night, but these aren't teenagers celebrating the end of a high school career. These are pro (and some semi-pro) partiers and this is Vegas Prom -- one of the year's hottest, sexiest parties.

Dubbed as the "Senior Year," the 4th Annual Vegas Prom throws down on Sept. 29 under the stars, seaside at Bare Pool Lounge with the official after-party at Jet.

Complete with a Queen and King, the Vegas Prom brings back the schmaltz of a classic prom, but as the organizers Kalika Moquin and Bo Karlen describe it, "This time there is no curfew and you're (hopefully) not a virgin! (It's) prom with money where the punch already comes spiked."

This party isn't your average "do-over" prom thrown by a local radio station as an excuse to book an old band on a reunion tour. This party isn't for the socially awkward kids who missed their prom, although if you did miss your prom, you're certainly welcome here.

This party is thrown as a celebration of Vegas nightlife by Sin City's biggest movers and groovers - a party for scenesters by scenesters and for those that aspire to be scenesters.

Hosted by Janelle Perry of Sunset Tan and 2007 Prom King J Roc, the red carpet kicks off at 8PM with the high school hijinx starting at 9PM. DJ Shift, DJ Que and DJ Vegas Vibe will be dropping the prom soundtrack.

For locals, you can nominate your favorite Vegas personalities for the Vegas Prom King, Queen and court now until Sunday, Sept. 14. In addition to the two top spots, you can nominate in categories like "Most likely to be found at the Rhino at 3PM," "Most likely to run for Mayor of Las Vegas," "Most likely to star in their own reality TV show" and of course the favorite "Class Clown."

Tickets are available at nightclubs.com at $40 for guys, $20 for girls and $50 for couples. Additionally, those wanting to roll VIP can reserve a VIP cabana at Bare for $2,000 that includes 10 tickets, three bottles, gift bags and tickets to the Jet after-party. Pool bed packages including six tickets, a bottle and after-party tickets are $1,000.

Vegas Entertainment has secured specials to make the night even more prommish:
- Makeup and updo at Kim Vo for $99
- Rooms a the Mirage resort for only $89
- Sunset Tan discount
- Dinner at Stack
