Miss America Preliminary Winners Day 1

Miss Iowa, Diana Reed, wins the talent competition in the preliminary competitions of night one. She twirled batons to "You Can't Stop the Beat" and won a $2,000 scholarship.


Miss Rhode Island, Ashley Bickford won the lifestyle and fitness competition on night one and a $1,000 scholarship.
