RL: The minute that your name was called out that night, what did you think? What did you feel?

AL: I was like, I was really, really excited. The competition had been going on for so long. That I really thought I had a good chance, but I wasn't sure. Then hearing my name, I really felt relieved and I was like oh my gosh yeah!!

RL: When did you think you might have a chance? Was there a point when you felt you didn't have any chance at all?

AL: I thought I had a chance on the first night. The longer it went on, I was like yes. The first night I thought I had a really good chance, then the more I got into it, I was less sure.RL: Give me the date time line. When did you come to Vegas?

AL: May 19th of last year.

RL: The Pussycat Dolls audition was the first thing you did?

AL: Yeah pretty much. I met with a couple agencies and sent my pictures out.

RL: Remind me again why you came to Vegas.

AL: To have a job in entertainment. I had done so much before.

RL: What had you done in Florida?

AL: I had done everything I had done entertainment wise from Florida. It was in NY, LA or London but I wasn't working in Florida, I was living there.

RL: What kind of stuff were you doing there? Cruise ship shows?

AL: No, I did Disney Universal, but the only thing there was that, then I did commercials and I did a couple TV pilots but everything I had done, I was with J Records and I had a record deal. I did a Girls Group in Germany and I had a record deal in London. SO I would travel from Florida. It got to a point when that had ended that I said OK I need to do something in entertainment and I thought Vegas was really LA, but I figured I could get to there from there.

RL: When was the Pussycat Dolls audition?

AL: I think it was July. Or the first week of August.

RL: That was the first thing that you tried for right? You were here because your brother was here?

AL: Yeah. My brother and I decided to move at the same time.

RL: So, nothing worked out with the Pussycat Dolls, but instead you worked something out with the Girls Gangsters?

AL: Yeah, it will be called Girlie Gang stars.

RL: It's in the Kitty Club?

AL: The Kitty Club at Mandalay Bay.

RL: That started out as something to do and now it has become something serious right?

AL: Exactly, I was literally at home one day, and I was in my bath robe and I was being typical girl sitting in my bath robe, eating ice cream with my slippers on. I had heard from friends that I had just met and they were all guys and normally I wouldn't go out with guys that I had just met, but they called me and they were like we are going to the Mandalay Bay to the Coral Reef lounge. I had never been to Mandalay as many times as I had visited Las Vegas. I said you know what, it is Saturday night, I am in Vegas, and I am going out. I put on jeans, a baseball hat and some heels and looked super cute, and we are sitting there in the lounge and I looked on stage and there were all girls jamming out and my first thought was how cool would that be to have that job. I remember saying how do I get a job like that. I said that to the guys I was with and one of the guys I was with ends up talking to a friend, manager of the band, who is also the bass player comes down to talk to me, and she goes you look like an entertainer, and I said actually I moved here to sing. I was singing with her on Friday. That's how I got started.

RL: You had a job on Friday.

AL: I was singing on Friday.

RL: That was your game.

AL: I never would have been there, but I do believe that things happen for a reason. I had never been there and I never would have been here. And the girl says you look like an entertainer and I mentioned I moved here to be a singer, and she said we need a singer, call her on Monday, I called her Monday, and I ended up getting the job.

RL: The name of the band was?

AL: Grove Kitty.

RL: Now you get your own lounge.

AL: Yeah, we are learning all new material, choreography, and stylists.

RL: One of your prizes was to have your photos sent out by BEST. What have you done for BEST since winning?

AL: I haven't really done anything for Best yet.

RL: Is there a reason for that? Have they sent you out on anything?

AL: No, not really.

RL: Is there a reason they haven't?

AL: No, I don't know. They have called me to find out if I had gotten my pictures and that was one of the main things that I wanted to get was my pictures, but I haven't gotten them yet. SO I guess once I get new pics, I am supposed to be doing the runway show, and plus other stuff.

RL: For the moment the emphasis is on you getting your pics and getting then launching your singing career here in Vegas.

AL: Exactly.

RL: Then eventually you hope it all leads you to LA and Tinsel town stardom?

AL: Yes, I am hoping to get to LA from here. Instead of being one of those people who are like screw it, I am going to LA, not knowing where to stay and the cost of living is so expensive. I do believe there are so many opportunities and Vegas is the place to be. All the celebs are coming here so I am hoping...I have worked more out here in 9 months that I have ever. I get print work, and bookings and I book different things. I just did a print shoot for Harrah's casino.

RL: Oh yeah that was one of the prizes.

AL: That was something I booked on my own.

RL: You are shooting for the Flamingo and Don Marrandino.

AL: Yeah. I am waiting they said they will contact me.

RL: That will happen. What else have you done since you have been here?

AL: I did a photo shoot for the Luxor and I did...

RL: SO you are beginning to make your face known around town

AL: Yeah.

RL: What do you thin about Vegas now?

AL: I love Vegas. I have agencies and I hope to get like 16 agencies.

RL: I don't think you need all of those.

AL: Oh come on, bring it. I just want to meet people and the agencies have events where they set up things with different industry people. I am actually going to be shooting an infomercial for the LVAC.

RL: The sports thing?

AL: They are doing a spot on TV and I get to be the host. That will put me on TV.

RL: So it was good to get on the bus?

AL: Yeah getting on the bus, taking 14 days to get here, stopping at out houses.

RL: Your brother was here, and you came out and your family followed.

AL: Yes, he literally called one day and was like I am moving to Vegas. I had always wanted to live here. Not only was it helpful career wise and Florida was getting all the hurricanes.
