The freshly 'Kristened' Lucky Strike Lanes survived the first BUBA league night.
BUBA is of course the acronym for the Beacher Unprofessional Bowling Association presented by namesake comedian Jeff Beacher and Pure Management Group.
With 128 teams vying for the grand prize trip to the Bahamas, the first round got off to a rolling start with fierce completion on each lane. Representation from around Sin City was in full force as teams including N9NE Steakhouse, Las Vegas Food & Beverage Magazine, SpyOn Vegas, CLI Vacations, Spearmint Rhino, Club Paradise and 18 other teams took it to the alley. Cast members from 'Beacher's Madhouse' entertained the crowd all night with their wacky antics.

Earlier, they watched a Versace fashion event hosted by Dave (5).
MOONLIGHTING WITH A VENGEANCE
Bruce Willis celebrated turning 52 by flying to Las Vegas with his closest friends and staying at best pal Robert Earl's Aladdin/Planet Hollywood resort, which was also incidentally the scene of Sly's 'Rocky' party pictured above. The rugged action hero had flown in from the Austin musical festival where he unsuccessfully invited up-and coming rebel pop singer Amy Whitehouse to join him as his birthday date.
A solo Bruce Willis along with friends spent all night at the newly renovated resort playing blackjack and shooting craps. After a long night on the casino floor sans sleep, the group enjoyed breakfast in the Spice Market Buffet before finally hitting the hay!
STAR OF CUBA
While Cuba Gooding Jr.'s latest award won't fit in his trophy case next to his Academy Award, he'll be able to see it every time he is in Vegas. The Oscar-winning actor received a Brenden Celebrity Star from multiplex mogul, Johnny Brenden at the Brenden Theatres in the Palms at the premiere of his new movie, 'What Love Is.' This Vegas star joins Cuba's Los Angeles star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that he received back in 2002.
