Cirque du Soleil's aquatic spectacular 'O' recently performed its milestone 4000th show at the Bellagio and the cast and crew celebrated at a private party held at the Empire Ballroom nightclub. The birthday event was themed as a masquerade ball as our LUXE LIFE photos show!
Congratulations to everybody at 'O' and Cirque on the staggering achievement.
'O' by Numbers
- All of the 85 cast members are SCUBA certified
- Costumes lasts 20 shows on average so at 4,000 shows, that means 200 sets of costumes
- The pool is kept at a balmy 88 degrees Fahrenheit
- Each show lasts about 105 minutes
- The pool's 1.5-million gallons of water weighs 12.5 million pounds and if built as a regular backyard pool, would be as long as a football field
