People are constantly getting distracted in Las Vegas and are missing the biggest parts of the city. I have been here three years now and have learned that this is a city with endless support and entertainment. Even if you are coming to visit and don't plan to leave the world famous Las Vegas Strip, you can keep yourself entertained for years. I love this city and there are five big reasons why!
Reason # 1 – The community will drag their butts down to my show over and over again!
I love a familiar face in a city with a big city feel, yet an intimacy that comes with a small community. The locals along with the millions of visitors are very supportive. I was supposed to be here for 30 days and I'm now in my fourth year at the fabulous Flamingo Hotel and Casino, and I just renewed my contract for three more years. My success would not be possible without the support of the community – these people not only come to see my show and laugh each night, but they drag their mamas, neighbors, visitors, hotel employees, taxi drivers, policemen, red light runners, cousins, sister's cousin's best friends ...the whole darn crew along with them!

Reason # 2 – The George Wallace I Be Thinkin' Show – it's The Best 10PM Show and you never know what will happen!
If you have not seen my show, you need to get with it and come on down because you never know what will happen at the George Wallace show. We're giving away prizes every night - you can win designer handbags, cash, diamonds, ocean cruises, vacation getaways and even double-A batteries (LOL). Last year Harrah's let me give away a cool $1-million. So not only do you get The Best 10PM Show in Las Vegas, but you might walk away with a little something extra.
Las Vegas is also the type of city that is full of celebrities and you just never know who you'll run into while at the George Wallace I Be Thinkin' Show. Chris Tucker dropped in for one night and stayed a week! My best friend, Jerry Seinfeld drops by from time to time to do a quick 10 or 15 minutes. My favorite gospel singer, Yolanda Adams surprised me one night and blew everybody away with her amazing singing. When they're not cruising one of the world's vast oceans, Mosaic, a six-man a cappella group, rocks my stage with versions of songs you will remember from yesterday and today.
There is always something fresh and exciting at my show. Even Prince has been at my show three times since he's been in Las Vegas – so not only will you see special guests on stage, but you never know who you will be sitting next to! So whether you spend every waking moment in Las Vegas, or you are here visiting, you must come out and see the show.
Reason # 3 – Las Vegas is a city of fine dining, leave the McDonalds and Burger King for when you go back home!
Vegas is THE city for fine dining. We are so far gone from the days of the $2.99 buffet – don't get me wrong if you look hard you can still find one, but I beg you to STEP AWAY FROM THE BUFFET LINE. Treat yourself to one of the great restaurants on or off The Strip. In my many travels around the world, I can truthfully say that some of the finest restaurants are found right here in Las Vegas. From Mon Ami Gabi at Paris and Nero's Steakhouse at Caesars to Hash House-A-Go-Go off The Strip, I can eat some of the finest creations from the best chefs around no matter what I'm craving. At Nero's they have this Lollipop Steak that I swear is the best thing in the world; you just grab it by the bone and savor the flavor. It's got a big price tag though which is where I think they came up with the name Lollipop Steak cause after you order it you feel like a sucker. At Hash House-A-Go-Go you can order a gourmet pancake that is larger than your head – no kidding – even Bighead Doug with a head like a jug that I went to grade school with doesn't stand up to this pancake! Mix at THE Hotel - they have a black cod that's awesome and it overlooks the city. Café Martorano – really Italian, just like your mama cooked it in the kitchen. When they send out the food, whatever it is just eat it. The chef and owner Steve personally oversees everything and it's so Italian that if you don't tip well, you get a feeling something bad might happen. Lucille's barbecue off the strip in Henderson has the best barbecue ribs on this side of the Mississippi and the best bread pudding with a Jack Daniels sauce this side of the Atlantic. My favorite chef, Chef Jeff Henderson, at Café Bellagio is one of the top chefs in America. He's African American, but just like the Italians at Café Martorano, whatever he brings you out...eat it. Just reading his book makes you want visit his restaurant. So make sure you are taking advantage of the talented chefs in this city - and menus change, so visit often!
Reason # 4 – Vegas is a service industry city and the people are here to make your day better, easier and more enjoyable!
The people in Las Vegas know that it's amazing service that makes the city great. The valets, the bell desk, the box offices, and the concierge – everywhere you turn in Las Vegas there is a smiling face ready to help you. Since this is a 24-hour town, it's the one city in the world where even the wildest request at 3AM can be done efficiently and with a smile. What happens in Vegas...should be happening to you.
Reason # 5 – You can travel around the world in about 20 minutes depending on traffic!
I love Las Vegas because I can start my day in Egypt, cross the Brooklyn Bridge, head to Rome and end my day in the Eiffel Tower - never having to leave Las Vegas Boulevard. Takes about 20 minutes on a good day with little traffic – it's just amazing!
Of course traffic in this city is another story. In Las Vegas they have this crazy myth that drivers here think that a yellow traffic light means about eight, nine...ten cars can go through! It's not legal, but they do it anyway! If you are one of those people you're only increasing your chance to bypass Rome and head straight to the hospital!
So folks, you have many options in Las Vegas regardless of what you are looking for and that's why this city is so amazing. So make the choice: You can go see the Blue Man, or you can come see the Black Man – George Wallace at the Best 10PM Show in Las Vegas.
Remember, something good is going to happen to you whether you like it or not.
