Everyone agrees Lucky Strike Lanes bowled a perfect game during it's grand opening celebration last night. The new Rio hot spot from the same folks responsible for PURE and Social House was buzzing over the bowling, bites, beverages and beautiful MTV star Kristin Cavallari from 'Laguna Beach' who hosted the opening party.
Kristin kicked the night off at Social House with friends on the terrace where Chef Joe Elevado prepared a special menu of Kobe burgers and a small feast of sushi rolls, followed by a delectable dessert sampler.
Meanwhile, party guests awaiting her arrival back at Lucky Strike noshed on mini gourmet burgers, bowled on the disco-lit lanes, listened to mash-ups from DJ Hollywood and kept the bartenders busy concocting signature 
cocktails like the Hustler, Dark Angel, the Mambo for 2 (although there are reports that many party guests including Vegas Pop's own Fletch ordered the cocktail as a Mambo for 1).
Also popular from the drink menu was the uniquely-created Raspberry Cotton Candy Martini like the one Brittany Snow ordered the night before the grand opening where the bartenders use actual cotton candy.
The bowling alley is black-lit with flashy lights running the length of the lanes and synchronized with the music and while some of the bowlers could have benefited form baby bumpers that prevent the ball from going in the gutter, the automatic radar technology that clocks the speed of the ball is a nice touch.
Once Kristin arrived inside Lucky Strike after walking the red carpet, flash bulbs added a strobe effect to the already dance-club ambiance inside with media and fans alike snapping photos of the blond beauty. Once she slipped into her retro bowling shoes, she was ready for photo ops and after a rocky start, began knocking down pins on her personalized lane.
Las Vegas magicians Nathan Burton and the 'World's Fastest Magician' Hans Klok popped in to help celebrate. LUXE LIFE readers remember Hans as the new star of his own magic show at the Planet Hollywood Casino starring Carmen Electra in April. Local comic, Jeff Beacher, brought some of his cast of characters to promote the launch of Beacher's Unprofessional Bowling Association (BUBA) on Monday, Mar. 19. Casino movers and shakers stopping in were Rio President Marilyn Winn, Harrah's & Flamingo President Don Marrandino and Luxor VPs Tom Recine and Brad Goldberg.
