Kevin FederlineOvernight, Kevin Federline has gone from rapper dud to super dad! But he'll abandon his Mr. Mom role of caring for Britney Spears' two infants this weekend on a Vegas visit. Ever since the pop princess imploded and shaved her head bald to windup in a Malibu rehab treatment center for alcohol and drug abuse, K-Fed has been sharing parenting duties of 18-month-old Sean Preston and five-month-old Jayden James with Britney's mom. Lynne. But come midnight tomorrow, he'll host and make his debut appearance at the new Beatles Revolution Lounge at the Mirage. Kevin might even be tempted to spin his own records because the next night, Sunday, he's followed in by rocker Tommy Lee as DJ host. Fed-Ex will leave the babies with Britney's mom while he's here. Meantime Britney remains at the Promises spa-type rehab center near the Malibu home they shared before her divorce filing and which is currently up for sale with a $10-million-plus pricetag!

Meantime the power of PURE continues to expand. LUXE LIFE reported earlier this week about the preview party it hosted in Miami in advance of opening in South Beach later this Spring. Now comes a definite April date for opening its newest venture in the Bahamas at mega-mogul Sol Kerzner's extravagant Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. They've teamed to open the new nightclub, Aura that will be partly-staffed by its Vegas executives and models. The 9,000 sq.ft nightclub radiates sophistication and beauty from its elevated position off the casino floor with a grand staircase down into a sunken dance floor surrounded by lush banquettes." We are thrilled to bring a whole new concept in nightlife to The Bahamas with Aura at Atlantis," said Pure's managing partner Robert Frey. Atlantis which is run by former Caesars Palace Vegas honcho George Markantonis is also home to two other Vegas figures NOBU's Japanese restaurant and celebrity chef Bobby Flay. Its expected that PURE stockholder Shaquille O'Neal will hop over from his Miami home if he doesn't have a Miami heat basketball game conflict!

BALD HEADS FOR CANCER KIDS

Scores of Las Vegas residents, from celebrities to casino executives to homemakers to retirees to our sports teams, will have their heads shaved bald at a local Irish pub next Saturday, March 10, as part of a major childrens cancer fundraiser. My friends, Brian and Lynn McMullan, owners of McMullan's Irish Pub, and their children head up the inaugural Vegas effort with a $100,000 target as part of a national fund-raising campaign by the St. Baldrick's Foundation. It is one of more than 300 identical events that will be held simultaneously nationwide. St. Baldrick's has raised more than $20 million to date and last year made $4-million available to 230 institutions for research and development of advanced treatment techniques. I'm going to join a team of revolving celebrities who will each emcee for a one-hour block during the super shave-off, so come down and give us your generous support! (Photo shows the McMullan's, Ross, Branah, Lynn and Brian before the shaving!)
