Arnold Schwarzenegger was the star attraction when the 52 Miss America contestants found him at the Planet Hollywood restaurant in the Forum Shops of Caesars Palace; even though it was only the cardboard version.
The bevy of beauties draped themselves around 'The Terminator' during the dinner and surprise dance party that followed; with their chaperones looking on to ensure nothing would get out of hand.
Earlier, the gorgeous girls won a special private screening of the hit movie 'Dreamgirls' at the Brenden Theater in the Palms. They gave the film, and its stars Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy, a standing ovation!
And when Planet Hollywood general manager David Tanner ordered the restaurant's chairs and tables cleared for an impromptu dance floor the pageant princesses really let their hair down. They rushed the floor en masse when Michael Jackson's 'Billy Jean' started to play and they sashayed, slid and shook in a sing-along to Sir Mix A Lot's 'Baby Got Back,' Toni Basil's 'Mickey' and the 'Electric Slide.'
"The mood was so vibrant and enthusiastic that even Planet Hollywood's waitresses and cocktail servers joined them on the floor for the shake-a-thon," I was told. "It was the perfect way for them to relax on their last night of freedom on the town before the preliminaries and rehearsals for Monday's live broadcast start today."
