First it was Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, who nearly battled over Pamela Anderson, and now in an "only in Vegas" moment, could a similar war erupt between porn-stars as the Adult Video Expo gets underway tonight?!?

My first question in this fable of the frolicking foursome: Is Travis Barker's ex wife, blonde beauty queen Shanna Moakler, actually dating Jenna Jameson's ex-hubby Jay Grdina? That's the buzz, but let's deal first with facts!

It's true that Ultimate Fighter Tito Ortiz (right) will be arm-in-arm with new steady squeeze, Jenna, this evening, as she throws a party with her Club Jenna girls at the Playboy Club and Moon nightspot in the Palms to kick off AVN. How happy Tito will be seeing all the X-rated posters around town of Jenna's new blockbuster flick co-starring ex Jay, making his own porn-action moves, remains to be seen. But Luxe Life has been reliably told that Jay "ain't at all happy about the romance between Tito and Jenna."

That word quickly picked up steam around the industry, and now both guys have added extra security for their four-day AVN weekend so that, if paths cross, fists do not fly in a jealous war of words.

But the most intriguing juicy gossip in this strip-off show-all head-to-head combat is the whisper that, since New Years, Jenna's ex has been out on dates with Travis Barker's ex, Shanna (left). (You all remember the divorce-cake she cut-apart last fall at LIGHT nightclub in the Bellagio!) Ah the wicked web that love lets loose. Behind all the drama was Jay's sale of Club Jenna to Christie Hefner's Playboy empire which netted the couple pre-split more than $60 million before the lawyers fight over what's right and fair!!!! We'll be watching this love-fest of flesh close-up starting tonight!

NAME CHANGE?
It'll probably be denied as fast as I'm typing it, but delicious rumor around that the Luxor will possibly change its name to The Pyramid, and it might come as soon asMay 31st (Memorial Day weekend) when the resort-casino opens its new LAX and ROXY nightclubs from Los Angeles, being operated by the PURE management men! They've also partnered with pop star Nick Lachey, who has already taped video spots for his new Aspen 702 Steakhouse Lodge they're opening with him at the pyramid-shaped hotel.


It's no secret that Luxor executives did research earlier name changes to re-brand it the Luxury and similar variations of that name, but all had been previously trademarked by other worldwide hotel corporations. Still to come, during its massive makeover, will be the Mandarin Lounge, also from PURE Group, making the nightclub entertainment lineup equal to and certainly newer than any other hip hotspot on the Strip!

EXPANSION PLANS

Meanwhile, the rival TAO group over at The Venetian is expanding too. Before Memorial Day the Asian themed eatery and entertainment complex will finally open its 8,000.sq.ft rooftop pool, which connects to the club via staircase so dance floor revelers could actually just hop upstairs and cool off instantly! Even before that though a TAO gaming ultra-lounge will open on The Venetian's casino level directly beneath the giant escalators that lead up to the TAO hq's. But the biggest news of all is that preliminary plans are underway for a new TAO nightclub operation and two ultra-lounges for the new connected Palazzo tower currently under construction alongside the Venetian. And separately I'm hearing whispers that a billionaires club is being talked about for the ultimate high roller addition to the new Palazzo.

GRAND OPENING

Tonight's the night that the legendary New York City Italian restaurant RAO's officially opens its new quarters at Caesars Palace (Click here for our advance tour and interviews with owners Frank Pellegrino Jr. and his chef wife, Carla).The restaurant with the toughest reservation in the world has been a legendary dining institution in Manhattan for the past 110 years. This is the first time its ventured away with its first out of town look-alike double. I'm taking my glossy photo, at Frank's request, to add to their Wall of Fame! A slew of celebrities and VIP's will be on hand for the festivities and we'll have all the photos early next week!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Believe it or not it's the 1st anniversary celebration for Steve Wynn and Victor Drai's TRYST nightclub at the Wynn and they're throwing a thank you party tonight for all their "regulars" who've made it such a financial winner. Steve brought Victor in to takeover the original fading failing Le Bete nightclub and Drai's nightclub magic with twins Jesse and Cy Waits saved the day turning it into America's most profitable $50 million a year nightclub!

PARTY PLAYERS
Our newest Vegas resident, David Hasslehoff, who is busy with the countdown of rehearsals leading to the Jan 30 opening of his musical 'The Producers' at Paris, has started going "out on the town." Hasselhoff dined with two friends in the TAO Asian Bistro. ... Directly across the Strip at TI's Social House a proud pregnant Jaimie Presley smiled as daddy DJ Eric Cubeechee patted her tummy and Playmate of the Year Tiffany Fallon with playmate Cara Zavalete (right) at the next table applauded as Pittsburgh Steelers' Joey Porter looked on from an adjoining table. ... Jamie who had just one glass of red wine took her large group down to the PURE later where Prince with an enormous security force himself was dancing to the music before he went back to Social House in the all-change game for some pre-dawn dining with an un-named unrecognized stunning brunette!

STRIP SCRIBBLES
Construction work on the Pussycat Dolls pleasure pit for gaming and lounging has begun at Caesars outside of the current showroom where the 8 gorgeous girls twice nightly. ... Congrats to renowned comic-magician Amazing Johnathan for extending his run at the Sahara for one more year ... Jamie Foxx telling friends on a visit to TAO that he's developed a script on the true-life story of a Vegas stripper he knew, when he lived here 10-years ago, who turned serial killer and he's hoping to produce the 'Gone by Sunday' movie himself next year. ... My old friend, French culinary legend Paul Bocuse, turned up as a surprise guest at the 7-course James Beard Foundation scholarship fundraising dinner that chef-king Guy Savoy threw at his namesake restaurant in Caesars Palace. Almost 60 food-aficionados raised $30,000 to benefit our local UNLV scholarship and James Beard foundation funding.

TONIGHT'S TIPS

My favorite all-time musical group ever, Earth, Wind and Fire returns to the Luxor tonight through Sunday with the most energetic and lush sweet sounds of soul, funk, disco and gospel- and despite the fact founding members Philip Bailey and Maurice White started all of this excitement 27-years ago they are as new today as they were back then. Don't dare miss their joy! ... Over at the Orleans, also through Sunday night, is another 30-year veteran, Tony Orlando, who is still typing yellow ribbons around the old oak tree and writing a new inspirational book about it too! ... Up at the all-nude club the Palomino Club tonight, adult entertainer Sunset Thomas plays host to a slew of her sexy X-rated video actresses in town for AVN. Earlier today Sunset became our ears, eyes and other body parts as she toured the sexpo with our photographer Scott Doctor, so next week, Luxe Life readers will get a first-hand experience of the wildest convention in the world from somebody who knows the business inside and out. ... Finally, the Lift 2 album release tour hits JET at the Mirage with global DJs Dan and Eddie Halliwell.

TOMORROW'S TEASE
An XXX-rated edition as Luxe Life dives headfirst into a sea of silicone when the adult film industry strips down to show-off its sexy salacious scantily-clad starlets at the annual Adult Video awards. Mandalay Bay becomes Cleavage Central with thigh-high miniskirts, sky-high slit gowns, plunging see-thru necklines, towering high-heels and erotic seamed stockings.
